MEET THE DESIGNERS

ABI
MORGAN

Abi Morgan runs her freelance company, Rose Creative and is a Graphic Designer situated in Swansea, South Wales. She is completing her last year of the BA (Hons) Graphic Design at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Swansea College of Art. Abi has completely thrown herself into her Degree and now feels prepared and eager to step into the real world of work, full of excitement and new ideas.

BALLANTYNE

Ben Ballantyne is a highly enthusiastic and creative individual who is passionate about his craft in Graphic Design. He brings a sense of energy and passion into every project that he indulges in. His mind set of solving problems with creative solutions results in work that is highly professional in quality, yet retains a sense of personality that is design appropriate.

CURTIS

Beth Curtis is a Graphic Designer based in Port Talbot, South Wales. She is an enthusiastic designer, with a dedicated work ethic and versatile design style. She strives to give a unique approach to every project.

CAMERON
THOMAS

Cameron Thomas is a Graphic Designer who enjoys working on social media branding, illustrations, books and magazines. The work featured for the Incoming exhibition are key elements of a couple of his projects. The illustrated book covers, ‘Welsh Warriors’ and ‘Welsh Legends’ display a favourite illustration style.

NELSON-CASE

Chloe is a passionate and enthusiastic Graphic Designer. Her artistic background started at childhood and has continued into her adult life. Chloe delivers a wide range of developed skills from start-up businesses to rebrands, to clients requiring a logo, full brand or the whole package.

WILLIS

Chloe has lived in Swansea her whole life and comes from a family of creative individuals. She has a passion for all things from Graphics to Photography. She takes her main inspiration from music and movie culture which influences her portfolio of specific designs.

ELLIE
LEWIS

Ellie is a Graphic Designer who enjoys a variety of areas of Design, particularly in branding, web design and packaging. Ellie has expanded her range beyond sticking to areas she is confident in to learning new ideas and progressing in different fields.

EWAN
WATKINS

Ewan Watkins is a passionate Graphic Designer based in South Wales. He has a great work ethic and thoroughly enjoys being a Graphic Designer. Branding, websites, app and editorial design are areas that he particularly enjoys. He loves the process of bringing projects to life from sketching and brainstorming through to the outcome for screen or print.

HALLAM

Genna Hallam is a designer from Porthcawl, South Wales. She is currently developing and running her own freelance business specialising in brand design as well as working hard to finish university deadlines.

GEORGIA
COLE

Georgia is a Graphic Designer from Bridgend. She has always had an interest in anything with a creative outcome and her educational journey has developed into a passionate Graphic Designer.

PERKINS

George Perkins is a Graphic Designer from Neath Port Talbot, South Wales. George has a passion for mixed media design, and particularly enjoys incorporating textiles within his Graphic Design work.

MCDONALD

Georgia McDonald, The Bold Type is a Graphic Designer from Liverpool and is proud to be one of the UWTSD crew. Specialising predominantly in branding & identity creation, but also turning her hand to UI design and motion graphics, she has a style often described as urban contemporary, by the book, with a fresh twist.

JEONARD
CRUZ

Moving to the UK at the age of 8 from the Philippines, and living in 3 different cities, has enabled Jeonard to learn how to adapt to changes. He can speak 2 languages, English and Tagalog. His love of movies, tv, comics, music and video games, has heavily inspired his creative work. Jeonard is a versatile designer who collects extensive research around any given project.

JOELLE
EVANS

Joelle is a passionate graphic designer who really loves what she does. She has a clear ambition for promoting sustainability through her design practice. Drawing inspiration from the illustrative side of graphic design has given her a certain flair, and she has developed a love of strong colours and print based design.

JORDAN
AIMEE

Jordan is a curious and dynamic designer with a flair for style. In the past her work has been described as surreal and unique, as she is drawn to the more gritty, experimental side of graphic design. With a passion for traditional techniques such as letterpress, she favours the hands on approach and design that can be made into something physical.

GITTINS

Jordan is a designer who takes a keen interest in digital design, particularly user experience, branding, and motion design. He is a methodical and conceptual thinker, approaching projects from various perspectives. He can effectively filter and refine concepts into functional, creative outcomes.

JOSH
MORGAN

Josh is a Graphic Design student from Swansea College of Art, UWTSD. The aspects of the subject he feels most inspired by include branding, packaging and advertising work.

LAURA
JONES

Laura has been an undergraduate at University of Wales Trinity Saint David for the past three years and is currently coming to the end of her BA(Hons) in Graphic Design. Across the three years Laura has become proficient in the use of the industry software, and can confidently use InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.

LOIS
JAMES

Lois has always had a love for Graphic Design and the way that it brings excitement and captivates the public. Through studying for her degree, she has had the opportunity to produce designs for a variety of projects and inspire others, whilst ensuring her work is always the best that it can be.

MATTHEW
GRAY

Matthew Gray is a Graphic Designer and creator of Magnify, based in Porthcawl, South Wales, and soon to be graduate of UWTSD. Throughout his degree, he has taken on a variety of creative projects aiming to captivate imaginations with his passion for good layout design and typography.

PATRICK
GLAVEE

Patrick Glavee, the Irish-Ghanaian native is an astute and investigative designer. Curiosity informs his work. With a ‘constantly developing’ nature, He always works to let his projects have a refreshing look, feeling and style. Creating through digital and print, there is not a medium he shows no interest.

WILLIAMS

Rachael May Williams of Maybe Creative is a Graphic Designer and photographer based in South Wales. After studying photography for a number of years, and having always been fascinated with how good graphic design can influence people, she wanted to learn more.
